The stamps consist of NT$0.80,NT$1.00 and NT$2.00 denominations.
The 0.80 stamp, has the Jade mountain Observation Station as the central design.
The 2.00 stamp, has an observation ballon as the central subject against a background of a globe with three vectors floating over stratocumulus clouds symbolizing the direction of a typhoon. Both stamps were issued on March 23, 1962.
The 1.00 stamp was issued on May 7, 1962, when a "Precautions againt Typhoon Week" was begun in Taiwan. In order to stimulate the public to take precautions against typhoons, the central design of the 1.00 stamp shows a route map of Typhoon Pamela sweeping over Taiwan in Septmber 1961.
